Tinker AFB and the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center have responsibility for awarding approximately $5 Billion in annual contracting actions. Tinker AFB is the largest single-site employer in the State of Oklahoma with approximately 27,000 total military, civilian and contractor personnel. There are numerous business sites around the Tinker Perimeter that offer thirty-nine percent (39%) federal tax credits for qualifying construction that supports job creation.
The Tinker Perimeter Asset Map illustrates the location of surrounding businesses and organizations that are vital to Tinker’s aircraft sustainment and war fighter support mission. The map also provides web links to facilitate further research regarding these support services and key sustainment assets. The Map is organized into two sections:
Section One provides a “follow-the-dot” tour map of significant assets surrounding Tinker AFB. It also provides information regarding significant incentives available to businesses that locate or expand around the Tinker Perimeter.
Section Two graphically designates the various Special Incentive Districts surrounding Tinker AFB. Section One provides an explanation of these incentives.
