Rose State College sought and won approval for a $7.65 million bond issue to fund construction of a facility to serve the training needs of Tinker Air Force Base.

RSC’s Tinker Air Force Base Leadership Program is designed to prepare and support Tinker Air Force Base Air Logistics Center employees in taking their next career step by providing leadership and supervision classes specifically designed for the employees of the Tinker Air Force Base Air Logistics Agency.

Mid-Del Technology Center is a key training provider for the aerospace industry. For 21 years, more than 30,000 Tinker employees* have received training customized to meet the needs of the U.S. Air Force at the Tinker Campus. More than 60 different training programs are currently offered, ranging from 8-hour computer classes to the 720-hour aircraft sheet metal class.

The Mid-Del Technology Center is a member of the Oklahoma Career Technology education system. This system has the capacity to facilitate a wide variety of training programs vital to the aerospace industry.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers Associate of Science in Professional Aeronautics, Associate of Science in Technical Management, Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics, Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, and Master of Aeronautical Science degrees from a learning center located near Tinker Air Force Base.

Southwestern College offers a variety of accredited degree and professional certification programs (including customized training) from its new Professional Studies Center located at 1140 South Douglas Blvd. in Midwest City.
